Wanted: Resources for the Classroom

I was extremely excited to get my Donor's Choose project funded!  Having 4 extra iPod Touches around the classroom has been awesome.  I am curious about other ways teachers have acquired materials for their classroom without spending much--or nothing at all!?

  1. I see that you have had a blog for awhile. This is neat! Do you get many parents who blog with you?

  2. Julie- I had to create a blog for a previous grad class that I took during the first 6 week session of the spring/summer semester. I have not had it very long, nor have I ever used it with my students nor with their parents. I am looking into incorporating it into my classroom a little bit next year and may go through kidblog.org for student blogs.

  3. I hope we can use the iPods and iPads we both have next year to really boost our students' performances! We are both so lucky to have the technology!!!

  4. Technology is a great tool - I just hope that in the long run it helps and not hinders the learning process.

  5. Check out iTv. Specifically AirPlay and the mirroring capabilities.
